A few years back, Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle, and even Aeropostale, were trendy in urban fashion. But recently, the fashion giants have noticed decline in sales and backed up inventory, which could only mean a few things. The teenage targeted brands aren’t getting much love since the rise of brands like H&M and Forever 21. H&M and Forever 21 caters to a more trendier crowd that doesn’t care too much about clothing durability as long as it is fashionable. What’s the use of purchasing cloths to keep around for 10 years when it will only be in style for 2 months? So teens go the cheaper more stylish route, instead of the higher cost, good quality route.
